At the invitation and with the support of the Humane Society of the United States, ARC Chairman Lexo Khubulava took part in the 2005 Animal Care Expo in Atlanta, USA, from April 4 to April 9, 2005.

The Expo attendees represented 29 countries. The Expo program featured a number of key topics, such as fundraising, boosting organizational confidence and starting a successful animal protection program. Throughout the Expo, the participants had an opportunity to share their experiences and ideas and establish new contacts. In addition to workshops, the Expo also featured an exhibition of animal-related products.
